The 3:31 melody has new meaning to me after delving deeper into the story. I think this sweeping, tragic line is the Didact having a small sense of remorse for his plans. He has his own warranted hatred for humans, but they are still his wife’s children and future. In composing humanity, he still betrays his love and The Mantle of Responsibility. I think deep down The Didact has intense conflict within him. Wish we saw that in our “Reclaimer Saga”

I will never forget the magic that the Halo franchise blessed my life with. So many gatherings of friends and family to play. So many summer days and nights of split screen, coop, multiplayer, custom games, forge, machinima, anoj top 10, voice lines, easter eggs, skulls, all of it man. An era made of gold. An era that can only be reminisced and explained by those that experienced it. I miss all of it, and knowing it will never return pains me a great deal.. but I am grateful I got to experience it. I am grateful that now as an adult nearing 30, this song, amongst many other from this franchise, bring a tear to my eye. Long live the Greatest story ever told in gaming history. Long live The Chief, long live Halo. 👑

Halo will always be a legendary game. An epic in scope and score. Other than the live servers being gone; the only real flaw(to me) is that the game 'almost' lives up to it's musical score. If the music of Halo doesn't stir you & get you pumped; you're missing something.

Damn I miss this game. I don't game much nowadays but this game got me through some dark dark times and loneliness. Hearing overkill and beyond was a dopamine hit like no other then grabbing rockets and just fucking everyone up was pure ecstasy for me. It may have been an unhealthy addiction but there is certainly worse.

I love that game so much! Continue fighting everyone, we got this!
